@Ben: If you can hook them up, go for it. We'll need other people to bring or suggest speakers to keep it moving. I personally don't know these people, but maybe someone else in the group has an in with one or more of them.

I'm sure Paul will put out a formal call for speakers soon, so stay tuned.

@Jake - Future speakers? *ting*

Top of mind: Jon Udell, Joel Spolsky, Dan Bricklin ... is Arno Penzias giving public talks?

(I guess I'm showing my age here. *grin*)

Marshall Kirkpatrick crafted a nice post about the group at RWW. (In an absurdist twist of timing ning was having scheduled down-time when I went to join. Gotta luv it! *grin*)

IMNSHO there's nothing that more affirms one's faith in human nature than the active presence of principled practitioners.

goood luck to all hands

guest speakers and open discussion. Account creation is required in the group's Ning social network, but anyone can join. (Too bad there's no OpenID at Ning.) [IMG]Founded by Oracle Corporation's Paul Pedrazzi (pictured here) and discussed on theOracle AppsLab blog, the first teleconference meeting is scheduled for this Wednesday morning. (PST) It will begin with a 30 minute talk by guest speaker Oracle Chief Privacy Council Peter Lefkowitz, followed by a 30 minute open discussion.
