Tim Bonnemann and Marius Ciorea, two guys at Oracle corporate HQ, have started a Lunch 2.0 series with an Oracle spin. It’s modeled on Lunch 2.0, offering up discussion topics on new technologies, starting conversations around them and educating anyone who has an interest. The lunches have been a big hit so far, even though they’re very new at Oracle, so much so, that Luc Glasbeek has cloned the series at Oracle’s UK offices in Reading.
In addition to the actual lunches (free as in beer and internet) and the topical and spirited conversations, both the Redwood Shores and UK chapters have internal blogs. If you’re an interested employee, send me or one of the founders listed above a note for more information.
